Recall: Auxiliary Water Pump

Just in case someone here missed this, there is a recall for R56 Cooper S MINI's.   The details are here: NHTSA

I was able to schedule my appointment with Towne and they performed the work this morning.  I haven't received anything in the mail yet so you should be able to shedule your appointment whenever they have the time.  Might be wise to sneak in before the letters start arriving as I assume they'll get busy.

I was told 90 minutes and the took about 75 from start to finish so it isn't too bad.  I just waited since I had to drive from Rochester and it really wasn't worth trying to go back and forth.

Haha yea.  Wasn't a bad trip and I get to monkey around with a hot side boost tube!  I'm not expecting to notice much difference though.  Always good to meet Mini drivers even if it was bright and early!
