Hey, I've got a few tid bits for ya: I got some replacement tires from Continental under warranty this month. I wore out a set in 16K miles and they were replacements for the OEM tires that came on the car. Continental covered 77% of the tire replacement cost. Cleve-Hill still got me for $200 for the fourth tire and mounting costs but that was sweet to get some new rubber before the snow flies.
I'm also in the shop getting body work done, covered by Mini. With the rust through warranty they are doing both door edges and the right, rear quarter panel. I was going to just take it to a guy but I contacted Mini and they said to have Towne look at it first. They are doing the job for me. It's been a week and they think it will be almost another before we get her back.
And, third, we did rear brakes again. This time we had no warranty and paid almost full price from Towne. Remember to mention your WNY Mini Club Membership and get 10% off service work, at Towne. Nothing cheap about it but stopping is my second favroite thing to do, in the Mini. They were not going to fix themselves so we bit the bullet and pumped another chunk of change into her. She should be all ready for the "show" and snow seasons to come.

Just a follow up to this one. We got the car back a couple of weeks ago. They had it 13 days from when we dropped it off. It ended up being a right, rear, quarter panel replacement because of the rust through. It was quite a bit of work, on Towne's part. There was a little extra damage to the rear cparpet from welding burn through. I'm now in the process of having them order a replacement piece and installing it. I'll keep you posted.
