Hi ! I won a Mini!!!! Coming is 2 weeks, cant wait. How about a dog/mini something? maybe spring or summer, I have a dog related business, a huge parking lot, ...and I just won a mini, I just thought the combination went well. How about a photo shoot-your dogs in your mini??I see calandars!
Wow, you won a MINI? How did you manage that? I don't have a dog, but I have three cats (and potentially a horse, too!). Please tell us about your MINI!

Hi All-Well here is how I won my mini.....Old Navy on NFB !!They had their 16th Birthday and were giving away 16 Mini's in the US- I didn't even know..so when I was cashing out the cashier gave me a ticket and told me to open it to see what percentage I would get off of my purchase....and it had a picture of the car!!! I can't wait till the snow starts melting so I can really cruise around in it!
The parling lot is big enough to hold about 40+ cars-because this lot is at my business, the only events I would do would somehow have to involve dogs!Let me know what you have in mind.
My two most favorite things in the world are my doggy and my MINI, so a combined event would be awesome!
Where are you located?

BT--welcome aboard! That is a really cool story about you winning the MINI. I hope it's everything you (n)ever dreamed of! There are lots of folks on here who will tell you it's one bodaciosly fun little car. There are also several of us who are gaga (or nearso) about our pets. I'm not one of those folks but I know they exist...
As for ideas for an event at your business (where / what is your business anyway--not that it's any of my business, but you know...), how about a fund raiser of some sort for Lollipop Farms or one of the other 'independent' shelters in the area (or some area, if that's not your area)? Maybe we could combine a spring / summer soiree / venture out in the country / fun run / raffle at various stops / some fund raiser thingie and end up at your place for a combined dog (or horse, or whathaveyou) and MINI wash?
I'm game for just about anything, but it would be great to have an event the dogs could enjoy too, and not just hang out on pavement while we make merry.
Anyways, a warm welcome to the MINIac club! Thanks for offerring your space for a fun event!

Bumble, I only had one Great Dane, and I have some stories to tell! (A Great Dane and a Renault LeCar) I only have one surly cat now, but she will walk on a leash, because the dogs taught her to walk down the sidewalk with them. (My boxer looked really amazed when she saw the cat climb a tree the first time!)
I just discovered this club and caught this post. Id definitely be in for my mini and my dogs. Sounds like a great time.
I'm proposing a program at my work (AAA) to highlight AAA's Pet-Friendly benefits available to members. Still need to get it approved by my administrators. Car lovers + pet lovers = very fun venue to spread the word!!
Great idea ChiliMini! If you need anyone to drive around the country and promote AAA's pet-friendly benefits, be sure to let me and Carmen (picture above) know. I kinda thought my x-country trip last fall was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, but now that the weather's warming up, I'm ready to plan my next one!
On last fall's trip, I realized a couple days before I left that I was going to be in Freeport IL, home of Doug Whalen and his Shift Machine enterprise. I had been eyeing this for a long time: http://thewhalenshiftmachine.shutterfly.com/142. I had thought it would make the perfect addition to honor Ted. It was in a sense a 'perfect storm' of opportunity, so Jill ended up getting me the shift knob for my birthday! Doug is an amazing guy and his work is fabulous! If we did some kind of a fund-raiser, maybe we could offer one of his dog paw yin-yang shift knobs for raffle...
