Just to keep everyone up to date on the autocross season.
Since I was flooded with suggestions on sites to hold MINI day I had to start looking around everywhere. Sad to say there just ain't that many kart tracks in Western New York that are acceptable sites for running cars.
But (dramatic pause)
We have something in the works, the presentation was made to the board of directors a couple of weeks back and they agreed to the plan. Just waiting to hear back from the last person and we may have a home for MINI day that will be a MINI only event. And yes Virginia, it is a kart track. Keep your fingers crossed!
Once the details are complete I will post more information. In the mean time, if you know of a large parking lot someplace that is free on the weekends and you know a person to contact please pass the information along. It's always good to have an alternative plan in hand.

Thanks gvcmel! Great news about the near-win for the kart track. Sounds like fun. I'll put the May date on the calendar. That looks like the only one that might work for me (and it is all about ME, right?).
