Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY

As I had mentioned to a couple of you on the wine tour, we're planning on going to the Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY this weekend (we haven't decided on whether Saturday or Sunday would be better).  As of right now, the weather looks good for both days.  Certain weekends have themes, and this weekend's theme is, "A Midsummer Fanasy", as described below:

"Come celebrate Midsummer with us as the town of Warwick pays tribute to the myths and legends of Old England.  Sprites, Fairies, Witches, and Robin Goodfellow himself will be seen in a masquerade of folkloric characters, and you may come as you please.  Stories, entertainments and pageants will all serve to appease the inhabitants of the unseen world that surrounds the woodlands of Warwickshire.  Who knows who will show up?  Shakespeare's, A Midsummer Night's Dream will play the boards too, as music, mischief, and mystery rule!"

The gate price of tickets is $24.95 for adults, and the festival is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The weblink is:

If you are interested in going, we can drive up together (about 1:20 from Rochacha), just let me know.

Sterling is between Rochester and Syracuse (closer to Syracuse), up near Lake Ontario.  Per google maps, it's roughly four hours away from Erie (depending on where exactly you live and how fast you drive!)
