If you haven't been to see the old track at Walkins Glen it does sound expensive. If this makes it so I can drive the track, not worry about cars coming the otherway/cops. It is well worth the $50.

To find out more information you can go to the Web site www.greengrandprix.com . The fee does cover the cost for the driver and navagator for the rally. T-shirt, and a  free lunch for each.
There are seminers you can attend as well. If you are SCCA members you can get in for !0.00 less.

Mitch,
I also whish we could drive on the old track if it was a closed cercuit. Todays road surface is not as good as the new race track. I always wonder if the old track was smooth back in 1948? Remmember there is and always was the train tracks.

It would be worth a new suspension to have those roads with no cops/no traffic for a day.
