Come out and show off your gas saving MINI and have some fun driving through the great hill around the finger lakes.
If you haven't been to see the old track at Walkins Glen it does sound expensive. If this makes it so I can drive the track, not worry about cars coming the otherway/cops. It is well worth the $50.
To find out more information you can go to the Web site www.greengrandprix.com . The fee does cover the cost for the driver and navagator for the rally. T-shirt, and a free lunch for each. There are seminers you can attend as well. If you are SCCA members you can get in for !0.00 less. Please check out the web site. If you don't want to do the Rally just stop by and check out the other cars.
Mitch, This event is not run on a closed course. The rally route is not known till the day of the event. Check out the web site for more information. www.greengrandprix.com
Mitch, I also whish we could drive on the old track if it was a closed cercuit. Todays road surface is not as good as the new race track. I always wonder if the old track was smooth back in 1948? Remmember there is and always was the train tracks.
