"Little Brown Jug" is his name. Glenn Miller did a popular version of that song in the 40's, and since I'm a Trombone player in Big Bands, I thought it was appropriatte
Congratulations to the Little Brown Jug. Looks like he's found a good home with you! Have fun, but be safe out there!
Love that you're a trombone player for Big Bands--where do you play?
Please, come join us for the Toy Donation in Rochester on 12/20. Great place to meet other MINIs and their people (and dogs, in my case). See thread in the Events section.
I play in a couple of bands here in Buffalo. Only one union band, the Alex Rene Big Band. I also play in The Grandfathers (LOL I bring the age average way down being 39-They were desperate for Bone players) It is only my Hobby/Weekend thing, so I don't really consider myself a full professional player.
Yea. With my family being 2 adults, a 3 year old boy and a 45 pound dog...plus instrument, stand, accessories when i gig in the summer, I never thought I could get a Mini. Then they came out with the Clubman. Besides which I never found another small car that a 6' 5" 400 pound man could not only easily get in and out of, but comfortably drive.
I know we are being asked back for the Youngstown summer park series in June or July I think. They sent us a great thank you letter from this summer's concert. We put it on the website alexrenebigband.com
