First MINI wave!

Today, for the first time I had a MINI (or I should say it's owner) throw we the peace sign.  I was so happy.  Of course I waved back with a big ole smile on my face.  She passed me on the thruway this morning in a grey Cooper S.  I've seen only two other MINIs since I got my baby but they didn't wave.  One actually looked the other way as we passed...I know he saw me.  I guess it doesn't matter too much, I was waving to the MINI anyway...biggrin

Congrats! One of my first waves was a gold (I think) Cabrio cruising down Route 5 out here along Lake Erie. She gave us the ol' thumbs-up and I knew I was "in". I've shared your other experience as well, just today in fact, I was over in Ellicottville and a Pepper White MINI went by me going the other way. I (or they) might as well have been on the moon.

As they become more popular less of a percentage understand the underlying club and MINI etiquette. I think the folks at Towne should give a brief in MINI etiquette before they hear off the lot.

thye should,i see at least 2 minis a day and almost none wave to me. prolly 3 total. tedscar was one of them hahaha. but on wednesday a british racing green with silver stripes and top waved. i obv. waved back hehe

I really enjoy getting a wave back, it makes my day.... would it be weird to camp out infront of the MINI dealership in my MINI and wave to fellow motorers so that I could get my fill of waves??

We could tailgate...Get a grill and some food and just wave to all the MINIs.  Who knows, we may even pick up a few more tailgaters thoughout the day.

Lol I'd be SO game for that if i wasn't an ocean away
Maybe you could organize something like that withe Towne and get some people to join? Would be a good way to get the word of our community out to all those new motorers and teach them to at least wave
