all is quiet

Seems like all is quiet this past week for most of us. Fall is here and moving in fast. Getting our firewood in order for the winter. Wanted to get the winter tires on the Mini but the wife said she wants to try without...ugg. Other then that getting the equiptment and crew ready for the leaf cleanup customers here in greece.  .. oh yea.. watched the rodents packing nuts and stuff for the cold to come. It is interesting how different creatures will be within only a foot or two of each other and they just keep working without a problem. And yet we go nuts in the checkout line....hmm.. Well a wave to y'all.
Talk later

Ya I have been busy for a bit. Bought us a winter car for Nicole (03 accord coupe) so I have been putting miles on that testing it out. Things get slow here during the winter.

How about some MINI holiday caroling in December? I don't really know how it would work but it could be fun.

there you two go again. How about a big bow and a "blankie" on the garage door? In the mean time think of the things that could be done with a large cotton ball or 3 foot wind up key.confused

Funny how some come and go. As some of you were aware I CRUSHED my thumb at work. Can't say a good story like it happen durring the rescue of a child in a fire yet I guess that would be bad to. None the less It is getting better and I am back to work. Bones are getting stronger and the nail...well lets just say it is growing again. Funny how much you miss something when you don't have it. You know how much your thumb is need to even zip a zipper and the T.P...oh my god...what a hand full..ewww... Lets just say it is not easy. It is even nicer that the car starts with a button - so I did not have to turn the key and shifting is simple the faster you shift. Only need the inner palm to "slam it into gear...lol.

I have been watching the post from a far and noticed that Klownkar has  not been around. Seems like they got the car and drove away. Hope all is ok. Has anyone heard?

Just wanted to chime in. See ya'll around.

Scott, good to hear that the thumb is recovering. The body is amazing.

I too have been wondering about Klownkrr--miss them informing us of their new adventures. Hopefully they'll find their way back soon.

Hope to see ya'll and Mighty Mo (the MINI, right?) at the toy donation in December!

P.S. Got a few interesting sightings for ya. While watching Samantha Who - the dance contest eppi. There was a MINI as an extra that past by in the same scene 3 times. I kept rewinding it on the DVR to see if it was a clubman and or and "S". And then there was the Ghost Hunter show the other night and one of the main guys owns a MINI and he said he got hate mail for owning such a $$$$ car. He replied "it's only a MINI.

I haven't been around much but I have checked in frequently. We have been busy with our new baby (Golden Retriever) and my mom got quite sick not too long ago. We thought for sure we were going to lose her but by the grace of GOD she pulled through again. The nursing home nurses told me what a miracle it is seeing the shape of her heart and lungs. I never know when finally her body will say enough is enough and GOD decides to take her home to heaven to be with my dad. I just try to cherish the time I do have with her. I sometimes (most of the time) have a hard time dealing with losing her, but I try not to dwell on that.

Ahh, but of course! I think I knew that but it was late (at least in my head) when I typed that.

Never (NEVER) again!

Glad to have you back MJB. That's a tough stretch you've been through. Your belief to cherish your time with your mom makes good sense to me. Several events the last few years have helped me to share your perspective. Today (in the generic sense) is one day we'll never get back...Best to make the most of it.

Kim thanks for the warm welcome back.  We have been busy with Jorge and he goes this morning for shots.  We are planning on going to Towne the day after Thanksgiving and we are hoping he will be okay in his crate.  No shopping that day so hopefully he will be okay.  We were thinking to taking him with us but not sure if that will be the best plan.  It will all work out
