Well, I hate to sound like Eeyore here, but I went to the salon today to get my hair colored (believe it or not, I'm not a blonde naturally), and what color does my hair turn out????
PURPLE.
Ok, so she quickly did damage control and bleached my hair back out, so I'm back to being a blonde again (my intent was to go back closer to my natural color). I guess even though I wasn't born a blonde, I was meant to be one.
On another note, I saw the Dr. today (for him to look at my airbag burn wounds), and got some medicine to apply. Hurts like heck; I would post a pic, but it's pretty grody.
I called Towne, and my MINI was towed to the collision shop, but I haven't heard anything further about Pepper. I do know that the insurance agent went to see her, so hopefully they'll be able to fix her soon.

aww I want pics of wrist! I hope everyone is doing well. If you need to cruise around in a convertible I will let you take Winnie for a spin. Pepper will be back before you know it tho!
Since Brian's Dad is getting surgery this week (seems to be a running theme; my sister had an emergency appendectomy a week ago), and he lives in the Buffalo area, I plan on stopping in and visiting Pepper. It's important that everyone gets a visit!
Also, for those of you who live in or enjoy the Buffalo area, Brian's uncle is a very accomplished artist, and is having an art show at the Market Street Art Center in Lockport. There is an artist's reception this Saturday, August 16th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm (there will also be a wine tasting from a local winery), and the show runs from August 16th through September 14th. His name is Mark Weld, and not only is he an amazing painter (his show will focus on his oil and watercolor paintings of famous musicians), but he also details cars (I'm considering some special effects on Pepper). We'll probably go to the show (sans MINI), visit his dad in the hospital, and maybe visit Pepper again.

Ouch! Purple!?!? I'm suprised that Mark hasn't made any comments relating the purple hair to the old ladies/grandmothers at bingo night ...but I hope your stylist at least gave you a discount for traumatizing you....even if she did fix it back..

Yeah, I told the hairdresser that if I was in college still, I would have kept it purple, but not now that I'm a business professional.

The wonderful Cathleen (aka YellowMINI) pulled some strings for me today and accompanied me to Strong Hospital to see a burn doctor, and he said that if my burn doesn't heal over by next monday, then I have to have skin grafting surgery, so everyone cross your fingers for me so that I don't have to get surgery!!!! Think healing thoughts.
On a good note, Pepper should be all fixed by the end of this week. That makes one of us!! Beware of the airbag...

I hope you heal quickly, Holly! Chia grass would be an interesting innovation, but perhaps no stranger than other things burns have been treated with over the years. Thanks to Holly for sticking around through my eye doctor appointment, so I didn't have to take the bus home!

Hope it doesn't come to grafting. I've never had it done (though I could probably stand to graft the chiapet hair to my head); it just doesn't sound like fun. Hope you're all hunky-dory by next week and that Pepper is ready to rumble (in the figurative sense, of course)!
