Hi! I have a question. When we got Elroy last week I didn't have a bluetooth phone, and I was way overdue for a new phone anyways, so I bought an LGVX8350. I hate this thing and will be returning it. I've have had nothing but trouble with it since I got it. It doesn't want to work with the car very well - keeps asking to locate, etc. Any tips on a phone that works well with the MINIs? Thanks in advance! Elroy & Sue PS - I really just need a phone with a good camera and speaker, nothing fancy.

Sue, there's a few extensive threads over on North American Motoring all about phones that integrate w/ MINI's bluetooth. Someone has compiled and maintains a spreadsheet of compatible and partially compatible phones. If you search over there, you'll find a lot of info (most of it even helpful). Good luck; I'm going through the same quandry.
http://www.wireless4mini.com/ I hate to say all blue tooth devices will work, but most will work to a point. Phone books may not load, may not beable to use voise commands or stuff like that. But use this website and they should work.
It is not on the list, but i have the new Dare from LG for verizon. It has a 3.2 camera, with more editing options on the phone than most cameras. Has a Micro SD slot that is changeable. I have a 1 gig in for the time and have music, videos and pictures stored with no issue. I have connected to the MINI's with it, but it did not load my phone book.

Thanks! I am printing the list right now. It seems as though the Motorolas work better than the LG phones. I am pulling my hair out with this LG right now - it goes back today!
