On The way to the Meet and Greet we took a ride around Chicago.
We found:
The beginning of Route 66
Oprah's studio
A giant McDonalds. It is 3 floors tall
And the Sears Tower
Saturday started out with breakfast at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
After breakfast we lined up and headed out for the drive to Road America
After a 4 hour drive we arrived at Road America
We took in the sights at the track. Later that day we all got to drive the track
The evening was concluded with a concert by Blues Traveler
On Sunday Laurie and I had the chance to Autocross the new JCW car
On display was a MINI Challenge car.
Around noon we headed off to RidezMaker Z. Due to crappy directions we arrived to late.
A great time was had by all.
On Saturday Laurie and I took a moment out to pay our respects to Brian Redmans cat. We participated in a corner worker tradition by placing stones from our home track (Watkins Glenn) on the cats grave. Thanks to Cathleen for getting the stones for us.
At the end of the day the corner workers meet at the grave and toast Redman's cat. We were honored to be able to join them.
Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

You two must have had a ball. Glad to see (hear) you got alot of air time. Wounder if Whiteroofradio will take you up on the invite and show up. That would just put your party over the top.

Thanks for posting the great pics! It may be the closest I get to Chicago for quite some time, but IF I went, I would definately want to do it with ~ 1100 of my new best friends / MINIacs!
