Do any Mini Owners go to the Log Cabin Restaurant located at 2445 W. Walworth Road (Route 31F) Macedon, NY on Wednesday nights? There is always a huge gathering of cars and bikes throughout the summer. We may head out there next Weds. after we get our new Mini next week (July 30th). Let me know - we will meet up! Susan

It's right around the corner from our house...when I drive home from work, I inevitably drive by several fun cars. Two weeks ago, we drove by there, and we saw a MINI there. We've never actually thought about going, although we probably should. I'll have to run it by the hubby, although I don't think that we could get there until 6:00 at the earliest.

I just found out that my wonderful hubby ordered my b & w checkered door handles after all. We had decided they we too expensive - Like $110 ea. BUT - $177 something ea. to install UGH! He loves me..LOL

Now that's a good man!!! My hubby and I are definitely into going, but my work is a little crazy right now, so I can't guarantee anything. We'll try, but don't worry about holding a spot for us; we'll find you if we come!

It was really great to meet you two tonight (and Jackie and Ron, who hopefully will join this site!). You're car is really cool; you made some fun choices. I can't believe that your tires were still so shiny and new (only 90 miles on them)!
Sue was so dynamic that she had a crowd gathered around our MINI's. She should work in MINI sales. A little kid came up to my MINI and said, "that car is soooo cool!!!". It seems to have that affect on kids.
I hope to see you all at the Watkins Glen run in August. You'll have a really great time and get a chance to meet some awesome people.

It's basically a bunch of random folks bringing their unique cars to one spot and admiring each others cars and talking about them. There were classic cars, kit cars, corvettes, laborghinis, MINIs, etc. There's no charge for admission.

Holly & Brian, We had a blast! OMG - it was truly a lot of fun! Think I should sell MINIs huh? LOL Maybe in my next life! (Or if they ever open a dealership in Rochester -I know the guys @ Towne are going "Bite your tongue!") We'll have to do it again! As Pepper said - it's just a bunch of people having fun - there's a restaurant with food, usually music and you get to meet new folks - come on out and have a look! Believe me - our new MINIs get just as much attention as some of the old cars! LOL We had a crowd looking last night!

You had to be there at the gun club today - I ran my usual August skeet tournement and one of the Brittanys peed on the front driver's tire of the new MINI. OMG - You would have thought lightening hit it -hubby was out there with a watering can rinsing it all off and drying it, I almost peed my own pants. And he accuses ME of being obsessed! LOL
