I can't tell you the number of times I have attended events, whether regional or national, and have had no idea who most of the people in attendance were! I knew I knew these people by their screen names, but since nobody had any ID badge/button on, they might just as well be strangers... Well, as a result of various threads on NEMINI.org, and having been inspired by similar ID Buttons having been available on NAM in the past, I started making custom ID Buttons. (I included a small yellow duck on the design as a tribute to Ed "Maxamini" Smith, without whom Quack Quack Jack would never have been.) For those of us in NEMINI (as well as those on NAM), location was simply which state you lived in since both groups have members from a number of different states.

However, since most folks here are all from NY it is up to you guys what you want there...  I can either use your county or your town...  In the samples I show below I used the town in which we used to live, but I could have just as easily used Monroe (county)...

There are three "styles" available:

• Standard
• Union Jack
• Checkered Roof

The three designs are shown here:




Pins are 2.25" in diameter.

For the standard design, the top of the button will be your MINI's roof color, while the bottom of the button will be the body color.

For the Union Jack and Checkered designs, the bottom of the button will be your MINI's body color.

[Note about colors - I will make every effort to get as close to the MINI Factory Colors as possible, but due to differences between screen colors and actual printed colors, the actual colors may vary slightly.]

The buttons are available in three styles:

• Pin Back (standard configuration)
• Magnetic Back for use with clothing (add $1.50 extra)
• Refrigerator/Toolbox Magnet

Price is $4 each for either the Pin Back or a Refrigerator/Toolbox Magnet. Please add $1.50 each for the Clothing Magnet.

I would suggest that if there are a bunch of folks in one area that are going to be getting buttons (e.g., Rochester, Syracuse, Watkins Glen, Buffalo, etc.) have one person volunteer to have all the buttons shipped to them to save shipping costs, and then they can distribute them to everyone locally. We can work out the shipping costs for bulk shipping to one address at the time.
