Just purchased my first mini and I love it. It is a black on black cooper s 2008. I have been looking at them for about 2 1/2 years and finally decided to get one. What a great little car. I live in Lockport & work in E.Amherst.

Congrats! Welcome to the club. Funny thing is that you will have even more fun bumping into other mini owners. Ran into one today at the bank. He had a clubman and then two others showed up while we were taking. One guy even told us about his 40+ year old one. I said "so you have the 10"wheels" He replied "no 12" I then said "that was an upgrade?" we all then laughed as he said "yup". -s

Yeah so I found ya. 2006 BRG MINI Cooper S. Woo Hoo! My name as you can tell is Deborah, or Debz but never Debbie (only family calls me that) I'm in love with MINIrva. I found her on the 27th of June on West Herr Fords lot tucked back behind a row of used Fords. It was a rainy day when I took my Ranger for inspection and oil change and thought for giggles while I waited I'd cross the street to the dealership and actually look for a MINI. Seriously..I borrowed an umbrella from the service department (Seneca Niagara logo umbrella) and strolled around the lot seeing what they had. I walked 90 % of the lot and saw every car(stayed away from the truck section) I was giving up hope when all of a sudden my eye caught a glimpse of black and white checkers. When I meet you I'll tell you "The rest of the story". Yeah so I didn't find you until now and wanted imput so I started a yahoo group that I'm going to keep because I've posted snapshots of MINI's from around Buffalo and Cape Cod vacation. I have three passions now. My family, my scooter and my MINI. Now I'm well rounded. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
