Changing the seat bottom angle

Does anyone out there know if it is possible to change the bottom seat cushion angle?  Just picked up a 07 MCS and I would like to raise the front edge of the seat just a little to better support the thighs.  Even a parts diagram would be good as I don't know what the construction is like and if what I want is even possible.

TIA

I think the side lever by the door raises and lowers the seat.

I don't think that lever changes the angle of the seat though. I will check in the morning and report back smile.gif

When siting in the driver side seat under your left knee there will be a lever, that lever will raise and lower the seat bottom as a whole. Unfortunatley there is no way to just raise the front for more comfort.

Thanks so far folks.  Knew about the adjustment lever.  Suppose once the weather  returns to hospitable I will have to pull the seat out and seen what the construction/assembly is.  Its like anything - anything is possible if  you throw enough time and money at the problem wink.gif

lol, ya I imagine you could just put some washers under the front bolts of the seat to raise it up....kind of a cheesy idea I had but it may work...

The seat frame will be handy to have intact in case of accident, which might be why it doesn't adjust at that angle. Maybe someone makes a seat cushion that might give extra height at that angle.

TIA,

As for a diagram of the seats check out RealOEM.com. Here is the link for the basic R56 seat:

Good Luck,

Dr Who - u rock. It looks like any other seat assembly and changing the incline should not be a big challenge.  Just have to wait for warmer weather now.
