Ride For Roswell 2015. June 27th

The Mini Club of WNY is now officially part of the Ride for Roswell hospitality team. Our main emphasis is going to be delivering drinks & snacks to the police & firefighters along the routes, that are controlling traffic.

We will be meeting in the Marriott parking lots at 5:00am, to distribute T-shirts, hang tags, and wrist bands, for lunch, before going on campus.

If you are coming & are not on facebook, let me know here.  I would need a count of who is coming with you & T-shirt sizes.

If anyone has their MINI outfitted with bike racks, that might be handy, incase there is need to go & get a biker that can't make it, & bring he or she back. They have vans for that, but sometimes get overwhelmed.
There are other ways we can volunteer.

Another opportunity is the Peloton on the Friday night. June 26th. Riders that raise over $1000 are invited to participate in the peloton, a ride from Roswell to the UB stadium. They will need folks to watch over the bikes, as the riders attend the ceremony, probably shuttle service and/or errand running. They do provide dinner, hot dogs & hamburgers usually, for the workers & we can stay for the concert after. Again, if you can't do Saturday, here is another chance to help.

Also they will need volunteers to help stocking the Rest Stop Bins. This will be on June 4th between 4:30pm & 6:30pm.
Location will be the Roswell Park warehouse at 15 Spring St.
If you can't make it for the actual ride day but still want to help, this might be a good for you. Maybe post here if you want to help. That way I could give them a head count, if they ask.
