I've been really starting to look forward to MOT in the past few weeks, so I figured it was time to start the thread! I figure that registration will open up sometime soon.

Good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, there'll be three of us going this year--Jill, me, and Carmen. I'm still deciding if I should put Carmen in the crate for the trip up, ... or Jill.

We're definitely planning on going again this year. VB, what happens to you if you drive more than 2 hours? Do you disintigrate? And Kim, I would suggest that Jill stuff you in the crate, and then she can try to pop some wheelies in tedscar, with Carmen's little doggie face hanging out the window. I can just picture the look on your face!

Yeah, but most of it is highway driving. You can set the cruise control! Or you can sit in back of Pepper. She always likes passengers.

no cruise control. haha. im actually selling my car cause its hard for me to drive stick right now. My knee and hip problems have strongly gotten worse lately. once the weather clears, its gone. i still wanna come to the meets though if its allowed until i get my classic mini. muhahaha

Grey! I can vouch for the fact that MOT is much fun! Better block off the time.

As for doggy places to stay, we stayed at The Villager last year though we didn't have Ted at that time. They were just down the road 'a piece' from Attitash. I see they do take dogs but charge an extra $15/night for them. We may stay there again, but I've got to scope out our options a bit now that we have Carmen. I don't think she's big or messy or doggy enough to warrant another $15 a night...

Hey, everyone! Just wanted to give you all a quick update. Sarah and Richard are finalizing the details necessary to open registration. T-shirt designs, window clings, and the online (yes, you read that right, online!) registration site are nearly ready, and will be up by the end of the month, if not sooner. Were all very excited to show you what we have in store for this year, and we hope youre excited, too!~

I still can't figure out what number we are, but we're registered, for sure! For those that are still thinking about it, this will be the third year that we plan on attending, which is a testiment as to how fun it is. Well worth it. But register soon, b/c there are limited spaces on the mountain!

Ok, so a couple of minor setbacks. (1) I e-mailed the MOT folks, and they have no record of my registration (although I certainly have a receipt for the charge on my credit card!!!). Their "technology guru" is looking into it. (2) I tried to call the Attitash Grand Summit to book a reservation, and they said that they weren't open, so I'll have to call back in the morning. If they don't have any rooms, I'LL BE MAD!!!.

Deep breaths, Grasshopper...I'm sure the fine folks at MOT will get your situation all squared away. And from the size of the Attitash Resort, they must have some place you could sleep. Even the broom closet is probably big enough that with a little rearranging, they could move a cot or two in.

Seriously, I do hope it gets worked out. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO BE MMMAAAAAAADDDDDDD!

Update: Received my registration confirmation today (SWEET 16!!), and made our hotel reservations at the Attitash Grand Summit. They don't have any "regular" hotel rooms left, so we ended up with a one bedroom suite.
